BIO

Jacqueline Cordes is a composer, a pianist, a polyglot, and a synesthete. Her synesthesia drives her passion for music and languages and her endless quest to create new worlds of music. Her composition classes and experience writing soundtracks for student films have laid the groundwork for a future career in music.

Her musical influences include Danny Elfman (her "spirit animal"), Radiohead, Trent Reznor, Depeche Mode, and Łukasz Michalski.

Her first commercially available album, Singularity, was released on June 28, 2024. She was invited to speak about her musical chromesthesia and novel method for identifying and cataloging musical scales at the 21st Fibonacci Conference at Harvey Mudd College in July. She continues to expand the boundaries of music by utilizing a wide variety of colors and scales.
