I love finding hidden gems of buildings falling into decay. Whenever my family is going on a trip somewhere, I make sure to do my research and see if there are any reports of abandoned buildings in the area. The pictures above are from an abandoned hospital on Ellis Island in New York. A friend who’s a professional photographer told me what kind of camera to rent and toured the buildings with me and gave tips along the way.
