Jacqueline Cordes

Jacqueline is a 22-year-old composer whose synesthesia drives her passion for music and her quest to create new musical worlds. Jacqueline’s first commercially available album, Singularity, was released in 2024 and expanded the boundaries of music with pieces of rare synesthetic colors and utilizing a variety of musical scales. 

Jacqueline is graduating from college this year, having collected cherished friendships and lessons from superb professors as well as a degree in music (concentrating on composition). Class assignments such as creating weekly compositions based on topics drawn out of a hat have prepared her for a potential future career in film music.

She was invited to speak about her musical chromesthesia and her novel method for identifying and cataloging musical scales at the 21st Fibonacci Conference in July 2024 and co-authored an academic paper on the topics (currently being reviewed for

publication). She also regularly performs in a variety of venues, from private tea parties to public fundraising

events.

Her musical influences include Danny Elfman, Radiohead,Trent Reznor, Dead Can Dance, Depeche Mode, and

Łukasz Michalski.
